Car Protect Direct is the consumer-facing arm of The Motoring Organisation (the UK's leading warranty and after-sales auto product provider). The aim of Car Protect Direct is to make buying insurance, a warranty or breakdown cover as simple as possible.

The brief

The client wanted a brand identity that conveyed trust, and a website that ran with the whole idea of making the motorist’s life really easy. Clean, modern and responsive – mobile-first and intuitive to use.

The journey

As with any new company, first we had to get to grips with the product and how it solves the audience’s problems. From the first client workshop, we kept coming back to the idea of simplification. This became our mantra throughout the project. Is it simple? Could it be simpler?

The payoff

Design and tone signed-off, we worked with a digital partner to establish a front-end and back-end tech stack that makes the customer experience and site admin completely seamless. The site incorporates DVLA registration lookup and clearly explains the difference between three cover options. In just a few clicks, the user has an instant quote, straight from the home page. Simple!
